The Direction of Change

If I had the power to change one thing,

Only one, of all the  things I dislike

In others, in society, in me,

If the world was one big picture and

I was an artist, just one out of many,

How could I make the difference that changes it

From just "a picture", to "a masterpiece"?

I would change the mindset of the majority today

From, "what is best for ME" to

"how can I help the situation of OTHERS today?"

If everyone was less self-centered,

More considerate of others,

The big-picture would be dynamic,

The world would change for the better.

You see,

People always underestimate the word "change."

They forget that not all change is good.

Things change whether for better, or worse.

My change would stay on the track of the better course.
