Directions

The light at the end of the tunnel

seems farther and farther away

with every passing moment

Which direction do I go?

when memory lane is a two way street

and I’m stuck running in place

My past keeps catching up

with my present failures

and future ambitions

To go left means to go back

To go straight means to go safely

But right leads to a path unknown.
