Direction’s Sight

I played my last card My heart thumped hard Could this be the end Of the money I couldn’t spend Futuristic dreams Felt like far off beams I choked when it tore What I wanted more Than anything else in life Instead slashed like a knife My dreams and goals Are all that pulls Where do I go now More importantly, how I finally came true It felt like I flew I found I wasn’t alone But how to get a loan This seems a blight People say my future is bright Perhaps they see Though more likely it’s me Perhaps in my future I will see a little fuller More of what around Instead of just the ground
