A DIRGE FOR TERROR VICTIMS- PARIS
Tears make my eyes blurry
The world is at war so I worry
Carnage turns the street to a cemetery
Everyday the news bears a sad story
Today Syrians cry
Tomorrow Palestinians die
ISIS bombs sound, bodies fly
A story of peace is a lie
Terrorists kill us daily
Psychopaths wound us sorely
We look on mournfully
As victims cry dolefully
Now Paris feels the heat
Of a deadly hit
It makes my heart skip a beat
As I see bodies on the street
But these only make us stronger
And support one another
In my heart I feel better
Thinking one day we will conquer.
