Dirt

We were just friends

But it wasn’t meant to be

I loved you

But you didn’t bother with me

Left me on read

I wanted you out of my head

Next time I saw you though

I smiled instead

Weeks of depression

I wouldn’t let friends in

Played with my heart while I fell apart

A few months have gone by

I still think about this guy

But now I know my worth

I wouldn’t stand for that dirt

Girls,

Don’t let him treat you as dirt
