Disappeared

Gradually you're slipping away,
restlessness effectively taking over.
I'm eager to confront my sensibility for you,
yet you keep slipping away.
Your hair;
Your eyes;
Your mesmerized by the illusions surrounding you.
Look at me.
Trying to pull you closer with a vacant stare.
Slowly you disappear into the shadows of dusk;
fleeing from lust.
