Disappointed

Proverbs 29:11

11 A fool vents all his feelings
But a wise man holds them back.

 Disappointed

Is the life you gave me depending on my flesh?

Is it slowly drowning in my great uncertainty?

Is it not far beyond what I recognize as best?

Is it not set apart far from emergencies?

You promised to never leave me but I feel all alone

You guaranteed safe passage but it seems my boat is sinking

I feel I’m totally spent and dried to the bone

I felt so good some days ago and now my health is shrinking

I am surrounded by goodwill … I feel truly loved

But one question keeps nagging … “Why me”?

I know this has a purpose with Glory from above

But my spirit is slowly sagging as I cannot clearly see
