Disappointment

It's what some may see inme

What my mom sees in me everyday.

today was a Senior Awards Night and scholarships were awarded.

I didn't recieve any cognition or outstading scholarships,

now I am considered a disappointment.

That I should be ashamed that my friends and peers

got awarded for their greatandmany talents,

for them having enough time to complete the applications,

for them to have deserved it when they have done their best.

She said, "You should be ashamed..."

I'm a disappointment!
