A disappointment

A true disappointment has come today

I wished for a trip to the sunset  bay

The money it cost was quite a handful

But I told them that later I could get a truck full

But no was the answer and try as I might

I couldn't get them to make it right

So now I lay here on my bed

No happy thoughts sing in my head

For a true disappointment has come today

When I wished for a trip to the sunset bay.
