DISAPPOINTMENT

Dear Insecurites,

For years you have haunted me

Made me feel like I was not good enough

Turns out, you were right

I am not worth bothering

I work as hard as I can and for what?

Dreams are unicorns and I am a mythologist

Beatiful and amazingly, mysterious, but not real

nothing but a figment of our imaginations

Only the strong recognizes the truth.

Digging like a miner, I search for the dream

i come up with nothing

sadness overcomes my soull

all is lost

promises have been broken

principles and morals left for dead

old and decaying

ill and weak

naive to believe it was true

tired of searching

mute to the cries of help

empathy is no more

never again

the end

Fades to BLACK
