disappointment

I am not a hard worker

I have no gritty determination

no resolve pushing me forward

like a juggernaut

for the honor and pride of my family

or for the passion of my soul

No I am a hunching button pusher

And my heart is crushed

by the thought of trying

No I am a disappointment

a burden

a waste of talent

a failure even

And no lesson on brain plasticity

can repair my self esteem

oh woe is me

to be so obviously

destined for nothing
