Disappointments room

For too long I waited for someone to save me When you left me i was angry Feeling alone And empty Feeling denied I swallowed my pride I pushed it aside And let this ride Swept up in a high tide When you lied I held on tight Hopeful that I wasn't right But I recognized this sight A pattern of empty promises You've led me here yet again Dug up graves without coffins With nothing to bury the past in For this I thank you as I learned to ascend
