Disconnected

I was disconnected and far But my hope of getting back was you. Your smile and warm was all that makes me hopeful Through all my struggling days . Tears of pain and longing for your presence kept me alive And determined to fight my demons . Days pass into months and years And here I am to finally realise my loved full dream. Nothing can replace this bliss Of overcoming the giant blocking my way to you And no wounds can bother me . But when I reach the point where you used to be You're already with someone who isn't me My tears of pain I can't withhold When this ice cold sword pierce my soul.
