You scream at me
I laugh
You tell me hurtful lies
I smile
You degrade me
I nod

But you can’t see what’s happening on the inside
You won’t see anything past your eyes
   I honestly wouldn’t be surprise
If I were to die and you couldn’t cry
       Just like right now…
As you scream those wounding lies
   You won’t—
Can’t see
That I am slowly dying  inside
