Discovering the Reality

Realizing is the hardest part.

Realizing you were almost going to take that leap with someone

Only for them to disappear.

Realizing you were wrong about the college you thought was for you

Only for it to disappear.

Realizing that anything you say or do will be used against you

When all you ever thought was right and just - was to be yourself

Restrained by life's handcuffs, by choices projected on you.

The knowledge propels you into a new version

But its okay.

Once you realize all this, you become, you become who you are meant to be.

You discover different ways to represent who you are,

To the people who choose to stay

To the college that is right for you

And to anyone who silenced you or made you feel inadequate

You say "I am worthy, I STILL exist".

You find yourself again in adversities and outcomes that appear to divert your path

Make choices for no one else but you.

Trust the process; diversions will always tempt you

Steady on.

Create YOUR reality.
