Discovery of truth

There was a time in life’s journey when I was speaking on my health with a nurse in regard to my bipolar. Unaware it would lead to the discovery of truth.  Having my innocents stolen at such a young age. Not aware of what was to come on this path of discovery of truth The motorcycle accident, the crack addiction, the anaphylactic shock Was this God’s way of trying to get me on this journey for truth? To see I was one of his chosen ones?  The moments of blind rage To wanting to feel the cold steel on my skin to release the demon within Because of having no fear There came a time when I watched my meds going down the drain Ready to face this demon bipolar. Onward towards the light of truth Remembering a story told to me. When I was a little man. I chose to run away from home I remember running in my room to pack my suitcases. I grabbed my papa’s cross from his coffin.  Out the door I went Hours later I came back home My mom opened my suitcase She held up the cross and looked down at me why the cross? You didn't want me to go alone? God has given me the strength to fight the shifts of my moods The double-mindedness. The glimpse of knowledge he has been there from the conception of me As time went on  I realized threw a story told to me I may be the product of rape. To be given up for adoption Finding papa was the open window into my essence,  for bipolar to creep in like a thief in the night to take my life God said no he is one of my chosen warriors To stand and fight for the beautiful life I gave him. As long as my faith stays I will have victory over bipolar To walk in grace by faith.
