discrimination

as the shot rings out,

that police officers feeling towards them was cold,

others around begin to protest and shout,

that unarmed person was shot because he was black there was no need to attack,

now people stand up against descrimination because they are bold.

with a live taken by a officer that leaves the family grief,

Some of our ancestors fought hard in the past against slavery it seems to still linger,

what next will people also get attacked for their religious belief,

does it matter the color of skin or whether your skinny or thin or a popular singer?

Iḿ M, I like reading, writing, cooking, acting, and helping others. Good luck to other poets out there, and never give up on your dreams. No matter how hard it seems.
