The Disease


Greed is the name of this disease through too much success it comes with ease It's not the sickness that is wrong, the person determines their fate Life isn't as easy, as humming to a simple song so it's no wonder we learn to hate I believe it is the dream that is bad, when you shoot for the sky some get lost You get confused, and abused, that's why you're so sad the loss of dear friends is the cost We are meant for success, that's how we are blessed But remember You in this quest, money is the ultimate test Fitzgerald once wrote, the color green as a theme that's why I believe, the disease... is the American dream
