A Disease
I met a guy who was me in a sense.
Whenever I’d see him he would always tell me about this woman he knew. He said she hadn’t stunned him initially but over time he grew attached to her. And when she walked out, he was broken. His heart ached everyday for six months and he fell apart. Attachment is like a loose piece of wool in a sweater. The further that person goes, the wool keeps on taking more and more of it until theres nothing left. By the end of the six months there was nothing left of him. When I asked him how he got through it all, he said he “Went to the store and bought a fur coat”
