Disguise

I’ll always have this darkness

This pain will always resonate throughout my life

A ship caught between raging waters and a calm sea only to break against its self

The sorrow swallows up what’s left

Long roads turning against themselves full of guilt and shame

Blaming the world and screaming at God

All the excuses are ripped into the sky

Light beams down through the forest of disguise

If only I could see it then...
