Disillusioned

We were in love from the moment I asked She lived in a world where I couldn't pass A day without each other would leave us despaired We were each others everyone, everywhere and there was nothing about her I cared to repair We grew to each other like none other I saw to it that I'd be a great significant other And the days we spent were always too short For true love like this has no time retort Yet the moment I knew it too good to be true I opened my eyes to a familiar hue My room there I was for eight hours asleep And I thought to myself, what a disgusting dream
