Disney Princesses

He’s Prince Charming, The one on the white horse, My knight in shining armor. He’s Prince Erik, Tall, dark, and handsome, Amazingly polite and kind. He’s my family’s dream for me. He’s everything I should want, But there’s just one problem: I don’t want Cinderella’s savior. I don’t want Ariel’s perfect prince. I want Jasmine’s thief with a heart. I want Belle’s beast with a soul. So I left Snow White’s singing soul mate, I left Aurora’s match made in Heaven. Instead I picked Tiana’s conceited jerk. I picked Repunzel’s “most wanted” bandit. My ex was ideal, The one every girl fawns over, The Ken to my Barbie. He was the one my friend’s loved. He was the one I should have picked, But there’s just one problem: I don’t want Cinderella’s savior. I don’t want Ariel’s perfect prince. I want Jasmine’s thief with a heart. I want Belle’s beast with a soul. We don’t have to ride off in the sunset. He doesn’t have to save me from dragons. I don’t have to be some Disney princess. I’m happy being my bad boy’s girl.
