Disorient
Buildings pass and fade
On this road headed straight out of this one stop town
No-one calling
No becking
Tracing outlines of trees
As the sun crested among them
Pulling out the brick of the only road I've known
But how do I get back when the bricks are gone
I need somebody to know
I need somebody to see
My heart breaking
The breaks follow the roads of dust
Paying a pauper for a bargain
Signed with a ring
Destination at the signal of a GPS
The city scape holds adventure
With no escape
Bound within city limits
Country roots strangled
Surgically removed
I am no more
I am bound with no escape
Trapped without a voice
Trapped within the city limits.
I have nothing
I am nothing
I am disoriented
Fog settles
As my hope die within the limits
As my freedom wanes
No sense of direction
No one to care
I'm not ready to be just another nameless face
I'm not ready to be just another number
My life puzzle falling out of place
I am disoriented
