Disowned to The Bone

Two years and a day have since past

A relationship based on hate could never last

You cast me out

Although you never had a reason to doubt

I was your daughter through and through

But there wasn't much more that I could do

To make you love my poor soul

Your anger had taken its toll

I remember the night you had made the desision

Cutting me down with such precision

"No longer, no more"

"That's what you get for being a whore"

"Eight hours to pack"

"We've cut you enough slack"

"By morning I expect you gone"

"Or you won't see the light of dawn"

I never asked to live this kind of life

I never thought I'd depend on a knife

I walked out your front door

Afraid and weak, you left my heart sore

Two years and a day have since past

A relationship based on hate could never last

You said I was dead and you're being weak

When you won't admit a corpse can't speak
