The Dispassionate Wind

Location

Together I am with my soul’s twin

Bearing any and all trials

Confident that all battles we will win

Sharing my courage with all

My brightness is like the sun

Radiant as the glowing stars

Reaching out to the downtrodden

Unafraid of my own despairs

Some reject my philosophies

And dismiss them as optimism

Calling them only mere fantasies

Saying such things are illusory

I pay them no mind

Choosing to face my destiny

Ready to face what I find

Be it paradise or perdition
