Dissapointment

No matter how hard I tried,

No matter how hard I held on,

In the end it was all a fraud,

A fraud of hope,

A fraud of dreams,

I let it all out in silent screams.

A bottomless pit,

Where my hope will sit,

I know we did not make it,

I just could not take it

The feeling of defeat,

The feeling of despair,

For I am a walking failure,

And no one seems to care.

I am 17 and am currently a high school senior. I love to write and express my feelings through poetry. I write what I see with what I feel to make writing come alive! I enjoy playing softball and volleyball. I also love to sing!
