The Distance
=A journey no one wants .
a road less travelled .
i took it ........... in search of a companion.
instead of waiting and wanting,
i chased & anticipated.
awaiting the moment that my abandoned journey,
would be someone's only choice to live on,
to breathe , to survive.
iwas accompanied by hope, heart filled with it.
GPS of joy, which only would lead me to my "happily ever after".
but moments after , only moments after ,
happily ever was reaching never faster.
in all honesty, a break couldn't hurt .
heart throbbing, eyes watering, my thoughts vanished.
awakening to an unfamiliar face, only to find that our journey was the same.
feeling more optimistic, his "you could be mine" gesture,
iswear ! i SWEAR inever missed it.
until he decided he'll travel alone, "true love wanted" iwas relisted.
eliciting the moment he left, calculating the distance in between.
isolated again , feelings bottled up inside , i chose to scream,
"for each mile , each road , each pathway ,my heart grows fond of you .
the desire to say that nothing can keep me from you .
So i ask if love had a limit , would you be willing to pass it ?"
