With Distance After Time

I don’t know you anymore.

Yes, I know your name.

But I don’t know you.

I know who you use to be.

We talked about everything under the sun back then.

Now I can’t even get you to respond to a call or short message.

It’s as if all the time spent together was suddenly erased from history.

And it hurts to know that I’m the only one with memories.

So rather than saying I don’t know you anymore.

I should say You Never Knew Me.
