Distance Between Sisters

A sister, closer, a friend, so much more

You and I have been so close and I fear

The bond may have slowly shrunk over

Time as you moved away, the distance

Between us growing until I couldn’t remember

The last time we had seen each other in person.

Yet I still say to this day, you are my sister, my

Best friend, and despite the distance between us,

I could never imagine anything truly being between us.

Much less the space that seperates us as there is

no true distance that can get between sisters.
