Distant Love
The way you look at me,
I can’t help but grin.
I think to myself,
“Am I finally going to win?”
If loving you was a sin,
I would go to hell
Again and again.
The way you make me feel,
I have never felt before.
You don’t make me feel
Like I'm just a chore.
You treat me the way
He never did.
I have never second- guessed myself with you.
Like I did with him.
