Distant Memories
I would miss the look of your eyes
the smile that would cross your face
seeing me everyday....
those secret glances,
those that you threw at me
when those eyes weren't prying...
I would miss the touch
witnessed by a million sunsets
the warm body that held me in a tight embrace!!
I would miss the limitless gaze,
that held me enticed as time froze....
Like many love stories
which come to an abrupt end
ours seem to also
have the similar tale
now that I go...I might not return
Ever again...even to see you
I would always remember you though
And promise me you'll do so too
As the first and last love of my life
You'll keep coming back to my over-occupied mind
Till the last ray of the sun...
Only you'll have my heart...
