A distant shore of love forever more
Waiting for a smile to apaear on her face
Slowly walking at a tedius pace
The same senario of fighting heard so many years before
While I step into another apartment door
Moving once or twice a year
Becoming used to being queer
Fighting and dreaming to stay
In a single space not leaving today
New people try to make friends with me
but they fail to really see
My rocky past and unstability
Show a pitiful and shy ambiguity
All I desire total freedom
to have absolute power against feeling numb
A destination far from my world, stumbling
Instead a life forgotten and crumbling
Single mother who can not hear my pleas
To stay away from charmers who bend their knees
I will wait my for my home on the distant shore
Where endless stepdads and fights occur no more.
