Distractions
Distraction
Great use of a free verse poem!
I've always been the type to procrastinate and say "I'll have time to do it later, no biggie".
Little did I know that having that having that type of mindset would catch up to me later.
At first I let my work build up thinking nothing of it, then I realized that I needed to get these things done.
Moreover I had thought to myself a more than a million times I should really get things done.
But, honestly with how many assignments I had to do I felt as if it was impossible to get all of them done.
The crazy thing, is I was BEYOND AWARE of how many assignments I had that these had to be done and I chose to ignore the fact.
Instead of doing what needed to be done, I was DISTRACTED by everything else that wasn't helping me school was as well as not asking for help knowing I needed it.
I felt like my computer was talking to me and screaming "Just complete me and turn me in and be done with everything".
Then, I had my phone screaming "Go see a new video on your for you page and go see who went live o Instagram!"
I knew in my later years teacher aren't going to be as nice as they are now, they aren't willing to chase someone down for work.
I did a lot of waiting one day prior and doing it the day of before the class the work was due
As you can tell I continued to be DSITRACTED.
