Disturbing Tankas

Why does it appear That every time I trust Life turns and hits me Should I just not trust people Or should I really not care? It's not fair to me. I trust you with the secrets Of my breast, and yet You disregard my pleading Or my desires in life. The world closes in. Sometimes I fear for my life And for sanity If I was to go crazy No one would miss the old me Maybe it's too late And as I write this poem I'm already gone Hidden deep within myself And crying inside some hole
