Ditto
You are like a sunbeam at midnight:
a chance encounter.
Your breath on my skin
is a sweet summer memory.
Together, in all kinds of weather,
we are a perfect pair.
You smell of sweet grass,
of soil made dry by summer’s
rainlessness. Yes,
You are my horse, Ditto.
Let’s ride.
