Dive Into Love
You once knew love at its greatest.
You embraced all it had to give you.
You’ve dived in its deepest waves,
Laughed in the depths with each breath you drew.
Do you remember the love you felt?
Can you recall His gentle words in your ear?
Do you long to feel His touch again,
Hiding inside yourself, inside your fear?
You remember his words as clear as day.
You recall the harsh jolt in your heart.
You longed to change what was said,
And even then, your world fell apart.
So you’ve lived hiding inside.
You live behind your walls.
You attempt to block out the truth,
When truth is trying to break your fall.
You lose so much inside your fear.
Much more than you could ever gain.
You stand on the sands looking out,
But the edge of the water you remain.
Cast aside your worries and your fears.
Throw away everything you’ve undone.
Remove your anxiety and trust fully.
And with arms open wide, dive into love.
