Divided Freedom
Divided freedom
Blood spinning that used to flow within
friends, brothers, father and son
now falls from enemies
now divided
Decision
Declaration
Determination
Fire and pain mist, rain, swell
pelt into hearts, bodies, beliefs
Dashing
Clashing
Life zipping out
arms, legs, limbs of enemies
braided, strangled, knotted
together
the red frost forms
Advance
Annihilate
Asphyxiate
fanged agonymetal breaks
onetwothreefourfive hundred
livesinablink
Blue
Grey
Crimson
wives, mothers, sisters
Mourn
orphan lives grow
Bent
Suppress
Surmount
Allay
Abrogate
funeral drums playing
Softly
Death creeps in
a silent field
What I search to understand is
how different would the definition of freedom be
if not for this unavoidable collision?
