The Divine Mother Within

The power of the Feminine Thrives within me She is alive Breathing, creating, and nurturing Longing to come out To expose her bare naked heart to the world She is enveloped inside Dancing, singing, screaming to reveal the truth to all Trust her, embrace her Open your heart to her So she may encompass your whole being And overwhelm you with Her Light See her laughing, smiling, sharing her sweet nectar of love Filling her children with pure love and joy From the Divine Infinite Mother That lives within, through, and around us.

I was inspired to write this poem after reading a book called Aphrodite's Daughters:Women's Sexual Stories and Journey through the Soul. It is a book I beliee every women should read, no matter what your background may be, it has a sotry for every woman to relate to. It speaks a lot of the Divine Feminine energy and how it has been suppressed over the last few thousand years, and how it is finally surfacing and allowing Herself to break free and expose Her Divine self to the world. So with this inspiration I bring you this poem, to hopefully inspire and awaken the Divine Feminine energy that lives within us all.
