Divine Trigger

Point your gun right at the middle of my chest

Pull the trigger

Make me mirror how I feel inside

Blow a hole through the center of me

Cover me in red

Paint me all of the loneliness I have ever felt

Coat me in the numbness

A nice cool blue to rival the hot red that flows inside me

Release all my pain

Pull the trigger

I can’t wait anymore

So alone

So cold

I feel it

Deep down in my chest

I used to cry to the moon

I used to pitifully sob for a sign

But there was no sign

No divine intervention

Just loneliness

An ache

A hole in my chest

So pull your trigger

Show the world how I have felt for years
