The Diving Board

You tell me it's time, I need to jump

I just need to let go to start the healing

But this board is so high up and something I don't trust

I'm shaking so bad, you aren't listening to me

You tell me to jump but you don't realize that I am scared

Scared of what will happen when I finally leap

You tell me it's time, I need to jump

But I am much too afraid to tell you how terrified of heights I am, how scared of healing I am

It hurts too much to let them go becasue the moment I do I know it's over

I know it's time, I need to jump but it would be better if you just pushed me
