Diving Duo, Starry Sky

Here I am, beside myself, two ragged dolls upon a shelf. We try our hardest, our best to win, but the wave is coming and we can't swim. We do not know which way to trot, so we dive in a point to plot. Living longer, seeing more, leaving through an open door, I feel so strange. I've left before, "but not like this" the wave does roar. "This time only you, to a distant shore" I find my self launched into skies unclear. "I cannot fly!" I shout for fear. "And you can't swim, but yet you're here" , I recall of course the waving's roar as they sit on earthen floor. I see two boys and both are one, telling tales of moon and sun. They spy a great wave coming in, oh what great courage there had been! Only one flies from sandy shoal, I feel myself, feeling cold. I fall as stone yet close to me I see the moon hung lonely. I shout to the moon and whisper in it's ear " be at ease the stars are here" this word had set the stone to weeping, while me and my composure keeping. I dive into my pocket and grab my phone. To this day I cannot say how it stayed with me all that way, but I threw it at that weeping rock and told it " call them, hard? It's not!" and as I fell to further deep I knew the moon would cease it's weep. As I fell I said " it's not so bad, it's just the cost." as I felt sad, morose more like it. That's the term, working hard now because I didn't learn. As I ride the heavens further down, I think that I might fly about and spreading wings I never had, stake my claims in spirit clad. I will continue, I will not stop, I will soar or I will drop. I bolt forward through the dark of night. I know my way as the stars burn bright.
