Dixie


Such a lonely bench Beneath such a social tree. Curled up underneath her shadow Tucked away between mangled roots. Deprived of the rain. Night after night, Staring into the eyes of the city lights But Nobody even glances that way. Towards the sad bench. Such a lonely bench.
