Do Hard Things

Location

The words hit deep,

as they penetrate into the complex ignorance lingering within

I cannot clear my mind

See transluecence equivalences admittance,

and to allow my mind to partake in the path revealing my failures

feels more consuming than relieving

But he seeks for my holy restoration

The words hit hard

as the impact clears the debris i've been using to shield me from the truth

I  cannot clear my mind as to see the truth means opening the floodgates to my tear ducts

A seemingly inevitatble invitation to pain

But he seeks only to invite grace

The words; do hard things

I begin to let them seep, filling every scope of my subconcious

Do hard things,

like loving

like forgiving

like accepting

and like confidence

see the hardest things start within

His voice has finally graced my ears

The truth etched into the valves of my heart

My calling isn't just to love others

I must learn first to love myself.

I want to do hard things.
