Do I love you?

I catch you watching from a far,

as the doctors stitch up my bleeding arm,

why did I go along with this plan you brew?

Oh, obviously because I love you,

Im told by my friends

That I should bail,

but I'm afraid then

I will appear as frail

I never seem to talk to you,

not honestly at least,

and when I need compassion

all your love is decreased

Can I trust you to be there

for me when I need someone?

I know enough that love isn't

always suppost to be fun

You tell me you love me,

but what do you mean?

The fact that I'm reliable

or you just like my company?

Let your emotions seep into

this "love" you feel,

don't build this relationship up

just to shoot it in the heal,

After thinking I've decided I'm done

with all the lies you spew,

and if anyone asks why

it's because I love you.
