Do I Not Deserve A Goodbye (Ghosted)

I hope you're not hurt or anything

but you kind of just stopped talking to me

kids these days call that being ghosted

It's not a fun feeling, but one I've always craved.

I want to thank you for allowing me to feel normal

for just that small amount of time.

If I never hear from you again just know

that I don't apologize for being too nice

or caring too much

I only apologize to myself

for thinking I could be like everyone else and

lay feelings aside.

This is simple...direct...relatable and at the same time very incredibly put...like you took an entire world event and put it poem....❤❤
