Do not Curse the Darkness

Do not curse the darkness.

Observe it on the wings of a crow.

Don’t fear this blackness.

It really is quite a shame,

how the bird was struck with a bow.

Do not curse the darkness.

Please don’t think that I’m to blame,

I simply did not yet know.

Don’t fear this blackness.

I ask that you put down your aim,

it’s okay it can be slow.

Do not curse the darkness.

I for one, will not play war’s game,

I’ll stand up for the innocent doe.

Don’t fear this blackness.

Instead please light a flame,

many blessings it will bestow.

Do not curse the darkness.

Don’t fear this blackness.
