Do Not Forget

Back when the clouds were puffy white
And the grass lay vibrant green
Back when my eyes would wander
And the days would grow deep

Responsibility was none
While under the loud sun
Never was therr a worry
Nor even a hurry

Nothing came near
Sound did not sneer
Negociate to none
Though whats next was rather near

Noise began to shatter
Life was unclear
Purpose was the goal
Here and now for tomorrow

Stress skreetches in the soul
Life takes its toll
Seasons emmerge
Society  is in control

So sing your way back
From dark unto light
Find the little place
Where past is found
And a child is at sight
