Do not forget about me

I do not know how to say it

But I know I need to

When I tell you do not say we are through

Uncle Sam is calling me

Crying to go and  rescue you

I will be on a ship

I will fly on many planes

I will see many countries

But wish you were there like before

I will try everyday to send this letter

There will be days that will hard

But others that will be fun

This will make me a better man

Fighting for this land

This land will stay free

Please do not forget about me
