Do not pick the flowers
My teacher once told me find someone you can live without but won't want too
I could never think of who
From time to time I thought I knew
Sometimes I felt like a rock but much like a flower I grew
with throns of piercing tips,
With years got shapend bit by bits
My flower grew with each gardener as well as my thorns as each flower was torn
I lost the will to grow as well as let go
My teacher once told me with dreams like mine it will be hard to find a lover
All I could think is it would be hard to find another
One that was more than a gardener but a partner that made me feel less like a plant
and more like a star
Yes its corny, But I dont knwo how to tie in how I miss you ... always driving my car
or how you went to far
and I did what flowers do with thorns and left you with scars
