Do They Know?

Support.
It's something we all want.
They're my parents.
Do they know?

They said they would and always will.
But she took it back.
He doesn't seem to care.
I feel alone.
Do they know?

I just want to protect people.
I just want to learn and grow.
Can't they understand?
Do they know?

I know they do care.
I know they're just looking out for me.
But what they think and what actually is best for are different.
Do they know?

I'm angry.
I'm hurt.
All I want is support.
Do they know?
